Emma (AKA Lady G) graduated BAEd Mus in 1997 and has worked within the education industry for over 25 years as a primary school teacher. She has been actively involved with music in a variety of settings and has run and co-ordinated many school productions, concerts and choirs. She has vast experience dealing with with children of all ages and abilities and is one of the most warm, friendly and energetic people you could meet. Lady G is the glue that holds DeRosa Music Horsham together.

Kitt has been an active part of DeRosa Music Franchise for over 8 years, starting as a student themself at one of the flagship sites back in 2015. Their experience is vast ranging from playing as a pits musician for Erith Playhouse to session and recording artist. Completing Grade 8 Guitar Rockschool, Grade 6 Drums Rockschool in 2021. Kitt graduated BA from the Academy of Contemporary Music in 2023 on drums and bass and has since been super involved behind the scenes of DeRosa Music.

Nicole is a performer and music producer with real-world experience across live performance and music creation. She has completed over 30 gigs in the past year, building strong practical experience as a live artist. She holds a Level 1 Diploma in the Creative Music Industry and a Level 3 Extended Diploma. Alongside this, she is an Artist and releases/produces her own original music and also produces and writes songs for other artists. Her teaching approach focuses on healthy vocal technique, confidence, performance skills, and creative development, with lessons tailored to each student’s goals.

Matt is a seasoned guitarist and vocalist with over two decades of live experience, gracing stages across the UK and making guest appearances in Asia and Australasia. Currently studying for a degree in Music Performance and Songwriting at WaterBear College of Music, he shares his expertise by teaching guitar, bass, and ukulele—covering a wide range of styles, exploration of altered tunings, music theory, and the art of playing and singing simultaneously. Passionate about making music enjoyable, Matt is committed to inspiring the next generation of musicians on their own creative journey. 

Will has 8 years of experience playing and performing guitar, learning the instrument entirely by ear and through live experience. He is currently a student on the Music Practitioners course at college, pursuing a full time career in music, and performs regularly with a successful live band. Will focuses on a practical, hands on approach to the guitar, tailoring each lesson to the individual student to help them build confidence, solid rhythm, and real world playing skills. 

Megan is a passionate drummer and aspiring sound engineer with a lifelong love for music! Inspired by her group project 6 years ago, her enthusiasm for drumming has helped to develop her skills. Currently working at Grade 6 level and partaking in a Music Practitioners course at college, Megan is also eager to gain experience in teaching to pursue a successful career within the music industry.

Paul is a graduate of the London Guitar and Bass Institute, and Guitarist of the Year Finalist. With over 40 years of experience in teaching, performing, music composition and production. He loves helping students of all ages and abilities grow in confidence and creativity, whether in one-to-one lessons or group settings. He specialises in teaching guitar, bass, drums, and music theory, tailoring each session to suit the individual, always encouraging creativity, self-expression, and a love of music.

Bobbie is a talented singer and Musical Theatre Performer. In 2024 she graduated BA from the University of Winchester with a degree in Musical Theatre. Bobbie has been an active part of musical theatre groups and choirs from the age of seven all the way up until she attended to University, and attended her own 1-1 singing lessons frequently. She is very excited to be a part of the new DeRosa Music Academy team, teaching singing and Musical Theatre!

Ann has achieved a MA Masters Degree in Music Education from the University of Michigan and Bachelors from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She holds 10+ years private flute and piano teaching experience in various studios across the US and UK. She also has taught music education in a classroom environment for 2 years. She is a strong diagnostician with the ability to meet each student where they are and help motivate them to reach their utmost potential!

Monica is an experienced piano teacher who works with students of all ages and abilities. She tailors each lesson to the student’s interests, learning style, and personal goals, ensuring an enjoyable and effective learning experience.
Whether you’re looking to play the songs you love or prepare for piano and music theory grade exams, Monica is dedicated to building confident, well-rounded musicians while nurturing a genuine love for music. She graduated a 5 year-university course (Conservatory), holds a Degree in music and a Teacher's certificate.

Olly is a drum teacher here at DeRosa. He has been drumming for 10 years and has obtained a BA in music studying at Waterbear in Brighton. "I am surrounded by a great team led by Emma, and other highly talented musicians and teachers here at DeRosa. This is a place where I feel that I can grow as a teacher myself and fuel the passion I have for being a musician through teaching here. I’m always happy to take on new students, hope I meet and teach you here at DeRosa soon!"

Kinga holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the Roehampton Institute - London and has over 20 years’ experience teaching piano and music theory to students of varying ages and abilities. With a strong foundation in musicianship and exam preparation; a focus on technical proficiency and musical understanding, lessons are tailored to support each student’s individual goals in a structured, encouraging and supportive environment.

Mike has been playing guitar for around a year and 2 months. He can also play the bass guitar. At his school is where his love for guitar started when hanging out with some friends in the music classroom. He is also a budding guitar technician so he's learning to do all sorts of repairs and restrings on any type of guitar. He also helps out in the shop on Saturdays so feel free to pop in and ask him any questions about guitars- he loves it!
